Nice hotel but location could be better

Very nice and friendly staff. Very nice and varied breakfast buffet. TV with some western channels. Internet was good, most of the time.

Hotel is a bit dated and starts fraying at the edges. Location is a bit far away from restaurants and sights. Bathroom could use a bit of scrubbing. Glasses didn't seem to be cleaned properly / had stains on them.

Surprisingly pleasant beyond expectation!

The staff are marvelous! Rigger, helpful, friendly and courteous. The Breakfast was quite good, The room was squeakily clean as well as the bathroom and the bath thub. I'm impressed with the free mini bar - healthy bars, potato chips and Chocolate, plus isotonic drink and my favorite bottled tea, apart from the usual 2 bottles of mineral water.

The don't have elevator towards the parking lot, however, the provide Valet Service, so problem solved.

Clean, good location

Cigarette smoke from another room was being pumped in through the AC vent of my non-smoking room. AC took hours to cool the room. The 7.9 is way too generous.

« Parfait »

Superbe hôtel, chambre très belle avec un lit géant très confortable. Douche très bien . Personnel très agréable. Petit déjeuner buffet excellent et très varié avec plein de mets à découvrir. Emplacement parfait pour aller dans quartier chinois voir le temple bouddhiste et taoïste , pour aller dans le quartier arabe pour voir la mosquée de Ampel et le marché couvert . La maison de Sampoerna est à 1,5 km à pied: il faut réserver pour le bus (gratuit) , attention le programme de visite est différent en fonction des horaires.

Tout était très bien sauf le bruit un peu fort du système de climatisation. Mais c'est un détail.

I recommend staying here!

I had a very pleasant stay. On the 8th floor, I had a nice view, sitting at the desk working was a pleasure. The bed was comfy and the staff very attentive and friendly. I enjoyed the gym too.

I did not like the smoking in the hotel lobby and during breakfast in the same room/area. Also, I was surprised that the reception could not help me with a call to my bank at home in Germany.

„Lage und Frühstück gut, sonst zweckmäßig

Das Frühstücksbuffet war sehr groß, viele lokale Spezialitäten. leider war das Frühstück nicht im Preis bei booking eingeschlossen, sondern musste zusätzlich bezahlt werden und leider war das Essen nur auf indonesisch beschriftet. Das Personal an der Rezeption war sehr freundlich! Das Zimmer war sehr sauber, aber insgesamt schon sehr in die Jahre gekommen, die Klimaanlage sehr alt und laut. Die Lage ist super, wenn man sich das House of Sampoerna oder die Märkte anschauen will, auch die chinesischen Tempel sind nahe.

Das Hotel ist insgesamt schon etwas alt. Ich war für eine einstündige Ganzkörpermassage im Spa. Die Massage war vergleichsweise teuer (für Indonesien)und die Spa Räumlichkeiten waren total schmuddelig und keineswegs gemütlich. Das Laken auf der Liege war richtig schmutzig, vor allem das Kopfteil fürs Gesicht. Der fensterlose kleine Raum wird von grellem Neonlicht beleuchtet, die Massage war ok, aber das Personal nicht wahnsinnig freundlich.

First-class property, excellent location, strong and fast wi-fi, strong a/c.

Fabulous property. Excellent location, close to Chinatown, the Arab section, and Sampoerna Museum. Wi-fi strong and quick. Breakfast large and well-laid-out. Staff attentive and English-speaking. Only in the city for one night, but my first impression was that this is an unjustly overlooked city by tourists. Jogja gets all the attention, but people should check out this place.

Can't think of any negatives.

Nous avons été surclassés . Tout était parfait Emplacement parfait pour aller dans quartier chinois voir le temple bouddhiste et taoïste , pour aller dans le quartier arabe pour voir la mosquée de Ampel et le marché couvert . It was nice and comforting, although it was little annoying (sometimes) with only one lift working

Clean, everything in the room was working as it should be. The breakfast buffet was very nice with the local cuisine Staff was very helpful

The towels and pillow cases I am sure was clean, but need to make/wash it to become brighter/white-er. I am sure this can be done easily. No hair dryer in the room Only one lift was working during my stay

Friendly and Super Helpful Staff

If you are into old town, China town, and those heritage and cultural places, I recommend you to stay here. The staff is friendly and super helpful. Especially the front office woman in charge in the morning I came and leave. She let me did early check in and took care of my luggage while I was strolling around the city. The building and the room itself are old but I would say that it's quite well maintained. I can see that the cleanliness and tidiness become their top of priority.

The mattress was sagging. You might experience back pain in the morning you wake up. Would be better if they put more shampoo and soap as well as additional mineral water in the next days of staying. The wall isn't really soundproof but you can't do nothing about it.
